What you can expect in this role 

As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be essential to two teams — your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.

Internship responsibilities may include

The Human Resources Summer Intern will work with our Talent Development organization which is a Center of Excellence (COE) in the Human Resource Organization. You will gain exposure to various aspects or work related which may include learning, leadership development, and talent management programs. Practical, hands-on experience may include: Principles of leadership for Directors: Support the project manager on areas such as content design and creation of resources. Data analysis: analyzing data from a variety of sources such as EE surveys, talent planning, dev planning, etc. to identify potential business impacts. Skill taxonomy creation: development of a skills taxonomy for a limited number of key HR-related roles to be utilized in a pilots of skills-based development Talent Acquisition and Development programs.

Required qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Advanced DegreeMust have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current programAbility to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the programAuthorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
