Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.

What You'll Do:
As part of the GP&MS team, you will be interacting with industry leaders, attending cross-functional events, and volunteering for community service activities. You will gain valuable work experience in one of the following areas:
Indirect & Direct Purchasing
Indirect Materials Management
Business Process Transformation
Supplier Recovery & Asset Management
How You'll Make an Impact:
Support in the development of sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, market conditions, and technology roadmaps
Lead projects aimed at making improvements in the areas of Procurement, Freight Bill Audit, Supplier Claims, or Asset Management
Use Lean tools to improve Purchasing, Inventory and Planning processes
Implement Standardized work to minimize variation in purchasing processes
Lead strategic supplier engagement activities (Technology Days, Request for Quotes, etc.)
Additional Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications:
Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
Must be graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

Proficient in Excel for data analytics and BI software for data visualization

Start Dates:
Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2025.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $4,400-$4,900, dependent upon class status and degree.
GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
