Department Summary

Fostering a culture of cybersecurity excellence to protect Patient Safety, Customer’s Trust and Roche’s Reputation.   As part of the Commercial Legal Team, The North American (NAM) Business and Product Security Team collaborates with the business and support organizations to help advance their strategies and help manage cybersecurity risk across products, processes and people.  

This internship position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, On-Site.

The Opportunity

Grow in knowledge and understanding of how cybersecurity and privacy play in healthcare, specifically for medical devices and digital solutions.

Collect, review and create a repository of critical responses to customer questionnaires and contracting language to drive efficiencies and consistent responses.  

Collaborate with sales, marketing and support teams to establish ways of working and develop content where needed related to cybersecurity.  

Program Highlights

Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

Program start dates are in/ May/June (Summer).

A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. 

Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are. 

Required Education. You meet one of the following criteria:

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors: Cybersecurity, Computer and Information Technology, Information Security, Security Principles, Risk Analysis, Legal, Privacy, Security Information and Assurance.

Required Skills: 

Excellent organization and analysis abilities.

Knowledge of cybersecurity domains.

Proficiency with Google Workplace apps.

Fast learner who can make decisions and recommendations.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail

Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. 

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $20.00 - $28.00 an hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
