The Business Unit CFO intern is a member of the Business Area CFO team within the Finance organization. In this visible role, you will have the opportunity to support in the development of Equitable’s strategic plan, drive efforts to improve efficiency and productivity and partner with senior leaders to identify, evaluate, analyze and deliver key insights across our business units. The Business Area CFO team provides financial guidance and support to the business areas within Equitable. **Internship Description** + Assist with financial report preparation, modeling, and analysis. + Research and benchmarking industry data. + Help with arranging meetings and presentations. + Work under supervision of team leaders and other mentors. + Assist with preparing communications, assist with presentations and related support materials. **Internship Details** + Hourly rate: $22/hour + Dates: June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025 + Location: New York, NY + Work Environment: Flexible/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office required) **Qualifications** + Rising College Senior (Class of 2026). + Business Majors with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or related. + General understanding of accounting, financial modeling, and reporting concepts. + Strong desire to learn and apply new concepts. + Ability to multi-task while continuing to ensure attention to detail. + Excellent written/verbal communications and listening skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Power Point, Word, Excel. **Competencies and Skills** + **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high level of precision. + **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, project, groups or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. + **Adapts and learns:** Actively learns and adapts through experimentation when tackling new problems and situations, using both successes and failures to develop and learn. + **Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:** Demonstrates a commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by treating everyone with respect and dignity, ensuring all voices are heard and advocating for change. **ABOUT EQUITABLE** We have been providing stability and reliability to our clients since 1859 to help them live their lives with confidence, to give them peace of mind, and enable them to realize their dreams for their loved ones and their legacy.
