Department Summary

Pathology Systems, Workflow, IT is a dynamic team that plays a critical role in offering best in class staining instruments to pathology laboratories around the world. Utilizing our expertise in the pathology market, a passion for executing against robust strategies in both new product development and in the optimization of over 13,000 instruments globally.  Our mission is to provide innovative instrument/software solutions that drive the automation and digitization of current and future pathology lab systems.

This internship position is located in Tucson, Arizona, On-site.

The Opportunity

Analyze internal global data to develop and identify potential revenue growth strategies

Support global market segmentation development.

Work with global affiliates to understand opportunities for present and future system platforms.

Execute Market Landscape analysis for Non-Roche products in early development.

Work cross functionally to develop data that supports potential business decisions.

Program Highlights

Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

Program start dates are in May/June (Summer).

A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. 

Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are (Required) 

Required Education. You meet one of the following criteria:

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

- Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program).

- Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).

- Must have attained a Master's Degree.

Required Majors:  Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Biology, Chemistry.

Required skills: Data interpretation, strong communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, self-starter, knowledge of Microsoft products.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Have knowledge in Business, Marketing, Finance or Data Analytics.

Be able to work independently, by taking general concepts and direction to produce desirable outcomes.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. 

 The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Arizona is $20-$50 hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
