2025 Summer Intern - Prescient Design (MLDD), Structural and Computational Biology
Department Summary
At Prescient Design, our mission is to develop and apply cutting-edge methods to design novel molecules. We are seeking an exceptional graduate student intern to join our Structural and Computational Biology team, keen to work on physics-, chemistry-, and biology-informed models for large molecule drug development.
For this role, we are particularly interested in candidates with a background in computational antibody design, developability assessment, and/or differentiable molecular simulation. As an intern, you will collaborate with a team spanning computational sciences (gCS) and experimental large molecule assessment (gRED Drug Discovery; PharmDev), and make meaningful contributions to complex antibody design challenges.
This internship position is located in South San Francisco, CA, on-site.
The Opportunity
Participate in cutting-edge research in physics-based modeling and ML towards applications in large molecule drug discovery, design, and development.
Develop workflows for in silico developability assessment and self-interaction prediction of complex antibody formats.
Apply model to molecular design tasks for experimental validation.
Contribute to publications and present at internal and external scientific conferences.
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are between May and June 2025
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
