Department Summary
An intern position in the project management office will have exposure to all aspects of various site projects which support the site's strategy and success. Interfaces with all areas affected or
supporting the project. The PMO is responsible for assembling project plans, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion. Monitors projects from initiation through delivery including monitoring budget/spending. The PMO team works closely with various departments like operations, quality, procurement and finance.
This internship position is located in Branchburg, NJ and ON SITE
The Opportunity
Training on the processes and best practices within the project management office
Responsible a process improvement under the supervision of the hiring manager
Responsible for developing a project plan [timeline, risk/issue log, etc]
Intern will meet routinely with stakeholders to present progress
Final presentation on next steps and achievements throughout the program
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education, You meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be pursuing or have attained an Associate's Degree.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
Required Majors:
- Business Administration, Engineering, Biotechnology, Supply Chain
Required Skills:
Professional interpersonal skills and presenting skills
Highly organized and experienced with project timelines and schedules
Basic understanding of cost benefit analysis and return on investments
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

The expected salary for this position based on the primary location of New Jersey is $45 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
