Interns will develop a corporate business sense by learning how each department contributes to the overall organization as well as crucial problem-solving, analysis and public speaking skills while attending business meetings and participating in projects. We are currently seeking interns at either a graduate and/or undergraduate level in the following areas: + Safety **Role Responsibilities** + Responsibilities will vary according to the area/department assigned + Analyzing data reported in current Excel documents, understanding the objective of Excel documents, translating information from Excel documents to Hyperion + Producing presentation decks, and substantiating the content with supporting data/documentation + Analyzes and interprets the business requirements of each report request + Produces accurate technical documentation of all reports and other projects + Functions as an effective member of the team, assisting co-workers as needed and learning from colleagues and supervisors + Assist with design and deployment of new safety messages/trainings and enhance existing training programs/processes to support locations in properly meeting safety training compliance requirements. + Verify data accuracy within safety reporting systems. + Assist with reviewing and updating safety policies. + Support implementation of Safety Management System. + Aid with improving contingent worker training program and injury tracking process. + Support the improvement and expansion of the powered industrial truck resource center. **Requirements** + Be able to commit for 8 weeks virtually, with potential for in person meetings/activities if you’re local to Miami HQ. + Be a resourceful team player that manages ambiguity and is able to adapt to different situations and people + Must have completed at least four (4) semesters of college or university curriculum + Currently enrolled toward a degree. **Preferred Skills and Experience** + Knowledge or courses are taken in the area of discipline + Member of school club(s) + Comfortable with public speaking + Ability to quickly learn new technologies + Strong computer skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Basic understanding of OSHA and FMCSA regulations + Ability to support multiple projects + Work within all levels of the organization + Self-motivated to work independently **Applicants from California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York City & Washington:** Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The hourly rate for this position is $18 an hour.
