Spotify is looking for enthusiastic students with a passion for music and an ambition to go far. This isn't just any internship! Our paid internship program will give you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it's like to be a Spotify employee as well as get the opportunity to see the business side of a fast growing company! Our summer internships will last for approximately 10 weeks this summer and start in the beginning of June.
Our Global Units Interns will be placed on teams across our business based on their field of study and interests.
Finance: Spotify is looking for undergraduate and Master’s students with a keen interest in the Finance field. Program Analysts can expect an immersive experience in Spotify’s innovative culture and fast paced business environment, utilizing creative analytical strategies and concepts.
Global Workplace Services (GWS): The Global Workplace Services (GWS) team focuses on the global expansion and support of our rapidly growing business. We build spaces and provide services that bring Spotify’s culture and values to life - from crafting thoughtful spaces for our employees to thrive, to delivering innovative services that make Spotify a phenomenal place to work.
Trust & Safety: Spotify Trust & Safety is dedicated to creating a platform that is safe for users and creators and true to our values. We are looking for an outstanding summer Intern to join Spotify’s Trust & Safety team in the Ads Policy Enforcement space. As an Ads Operations intern, you will help to define, communicate, and enforce our stance on advertising and monetization policy issues across podcasts, music, and all other forms of content.What You'll DoYou'll be an integral member of our New York City Internship cohort in one of the following roles:
Finance:Work within our FP&A, Internal Audit, Accounting teams.
Global Workplace Services (GWS/IT):Provide IT-support to our global Spotifiers working from anywhere.Be our representative in our IT Bars in the office and other support channels.Learn how to handle incoming requests and give personal and remote support on hardware and software problems to fellow Spotify employees.Be a part of Spotify's Global Workplace Design. Help improve operational efficiency in the workplace.
Trust & Safety: Work closely with our team and internal stakeholders to develop, refine, and launch advertising and monetization enforcement processes that help ensure Spotify is a safe and positive experience for everyone. Help with ads policy enforcement operations; partner on audits and training, lead enforcement efficiency related projects, and develop business cases for product and policy enhancements. Conduct risk assessments and global regulatory research on new revenue opportunities for Spotify as well as new and emerging trends within content.Advise and lead high-profile and/or time-sensitive investigations into potential policy violations across content and advertisements. Who You AreYou have skills in one of the following areas:
Finance:You have or are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with prior coursework in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.You are curious, creative & passionate about numbers.You want to pursue a career in Finance and are willing to make a 2-year commitment to find your next step.You are collaborative, adaptable & able to dive into the details.You think in a fun & innovative way about solutions.You are hardworking, able to meet deadlines, and approach your work with a self-starter mentality.
Global Workplace Services (GWS/IT):You have or are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on Interior Design/Architecture or you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with coursework in Management Information Systems (MIS).You are familiar with help desk environments, supporting macOS and Windows based systems.You love to give personal, customer focused support to help Spotify employees solve technical problems.
Trust & SafetyYou have or are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You are able to provide concise advice and articulate complex challenges clearly. You have strong project management skills and can take creative approaches to problem solving. You are a standout colleague with the ability to work autonomously. You have experience working with data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and translating results into easy to understand metrics and statements. You are excited by the ever-changing landscape of technology, content, and advertising and have the ability to adjust and adapt to business and regulatory changes. Ideally you have some experience in drafting, reviewing, and/or implementing policies for ads, podcasts, music, video, and/or another other form of user-generated content. A second language is a plus. Prior experience in content moderation, brand safety, advertising, or government is a plus.
All Candidates:You have a graduation year date of 2025 or 2026.You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2025.You are available from June 9th to August 15th, 2025 to participate in the summer internship.Where You'll BeThis role will be in New York City.Our internship program has a lot to offer with in office events and networking opportunities. To allow you to be fully immersed in our program and make the most of your time with us, we ask that you come into the office 3 days a week.The United States hourly rate for this position is $32 USD and is overtime eligible. These rates may be modified in the future. The role is eligible for select benefits such as Paid Public Holidays, and Learning and Development Trainings.
