The IT Security Intern will have a passion for managing IT Security at an enterprise level. This role is responsible for handling provisioning tasks, and assists with first level incident investigation and response. This role will assist with the management of IT Security endpoint solutions and network security systems, perform configuration, log, and report reviews, and assist with development of related automation tasks. This individual will work with Information Technology staff and business units to assess risk, address security issues, and enhance organizational information security awareness in accordance with defined IT Security policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities:
Provision and deprovision access to various resources. Assist with planning, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of automation tasks. Assist in the enforcement and monitoring of compliance regulations. Raise awareness of security policies and develop corresponding procedures. Create and review reports on event anomalies. Investigate and respond to security incidents and violations. Provide security expertise to the company. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree (expected graduation in Winter 2025 or Spring 2026). Previous internship experience in retail, consumer products, or manufacturing environments is preferred. Ability to work from our Phoenix, AZ headquarters Tuesday–Thursday (Out-of-state students are welcome to apply if they can attend in-office days). Authorization to work in the United States. Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a passion for driving results. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods. Moderate lifting of office supplies and equipment as needed.Benefits:
