The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

 

Our CS (Customer Success) strategy and analytics team is spearheading digital transformation in Zebra by leveraging data, analytics and technology. We partner with technology and business associates across Zebra to build impactful capabilities with advanced prescriptive analytics, Gen AI, IoT, software and telemetry data.

Responsibilities:
Building a ‘virtual analyst’ tool that identifies trends in the data and give an overview of changes and causeThe tool will collect metrics from a wide net of data related to our customers (IoT, service, text)Utilize ‘slice and dice’ methods, segments, predictions, text analysis/ gen AI to extract the most insights from the data, without a person touching itExperiment with innovative technologiesWork with a tech stack that includes Power BI, google cloud and data brickDevelop planning, organizational and leadership skillsIncrease technology knowledge and skillsDevelop team-based work proficienciesDevelop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN EITHER LINCOLNSHIRE, IL OR HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or Data AnalyticsMust have an anticipated graduation date between 2025 - 2026Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with tech stack: Power BI, Google Cloud and Data BricksCuriosity for technology and dataExperience with data visualizationCritical thinking and problem solvingSelf-starter Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and growProven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiencesAbility to collaborate as part of a teamEffective verbal and written communication skills
