What is the opportunity?
As a member of the Digital Marketing team, you will help deliver key strategic projects (including information/content and transactional/acquisition) across public-facing digital channels for RBC Credit Cards. The Digital Marketing coordinator contract position will work closely with the Digital Marketing Managers and RBC Marketing and business/product leads to manage digital development, maintenance, and content implementation for various RBC public websites, landing pages and digital assets as well as monitoring and reporting campaign results and identifying optimization opportunities across website/digital channels.
What will you do?
Support the Digital Marketing Managers by executing various integrated marketing tactics in alignment with stakeholder and business objectivesAssist in project management of digital development and maintenance projects, including stakeholder/legal approval, translation and working with internal copywriters and designers to request and manage project contentEnsure all pages are accurate, function properly and comply with all RBC regulatory standards, design requirements and SEO guidelinesGenerate website analytics reports for key stakeholdersAct as a partner to and liaise with internal business partnersEnsure that project deliverables are of high quality and any development adheres to the standards of RBCManage maintenance process to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely mannerWhat do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in marketingExperience in online marketing or related marketingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic understanding of digital marketing practices like SEO, web analytics, and HTML preferredStrong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointA strong desire to learn while moving projects forwardNice to have:
Experience with web content management systemsExperience with digital marketing best practices and SEO practicesExperience within the financial industry would be an assetWeb analytics experience including Google Analytics, data analysis and dashboardingWhat’s in it for you?
