As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of operations, emphasizing capacity planning, logistics optimization, network design, and analysis of operational efficiency. In this team more specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring we have the right products at the right quantities within our Amazon Fresh locations, a critical area to delight customers and the foundation of our business. Key job responsibilities 1. Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network. 2. Balance supply and demand, assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, or logistics operations. 3. Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency in network capacity. 4. Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network capacity goals. 5. Manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale. 6. Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in network capacity, focusing on inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization. 7. Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to ensure the smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain network. Basic Qualifications 1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field, with a graduation conferral date between December 2024 and June 2025 or within past 24 months 2. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics 2. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. 3. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
