Actuary Associate, Workplace Consulting

The Associate Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop their financial, business, and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role, guiding finance, and human resource executives regarding their retirement, health and welfare, and employee communication needs.

The skills you bring

Mathematics, Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred

Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Intellectual curiosity, creativity, along with analytical and problem-solving skills

A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities

Your impact on us

Focus on annual pension actuarial valuations to determine cash and accounting requirements

Support merger and acquisition transactions as they impact corporate benefit programs

Assist clients optimally manage their employee benefits programs from a financial, compliance, and communications perspective

Design custom micro sites for a wide range of corporate compensation and benefits needs

The base salary range for this position is $64,000-$121,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
