Example roles include market analyst, trading desk position analyst, logistics coordinator, marine operations and chartering, scheduler, business development and origination, and commodity trader.
**KATALYST** , established by the Global Commercial Organization in 2005, is a premier industry-leading energy commodity supply and trading development program for market-savvy university hires. **KATALYST** associates experience a dynamic, 90-day immersion to the Phillips 66 energy value chain followed by two targeted rotations aimed at acquiring knowledge and building relationships that will cultivate a fulfilling career. Associates are also provided networking opportunities, career coaching, and exposure to senior leadership team members.
The **KATALYST** program is built on the principle that Knowledge combined with Application leads to career Transformation. The **KATALYST** curriculum focuses on our key businesses and markets, and includes:

Upon completion of the immersion portion of the program, the _KATALYST_ associates are placed in their respective assignment, which for Marine is the “Operations Support Analyst” role in the Commercial organization in Houston, TX. The Marine Ops Support Assignment provides experiential learning and development opportunities within and outside of Marine with daily interaction with Global Chartering, Global Trading and Scheduling, Market Analysis and Surface Transportation and Logistics. Associates gain transferable skills applicable to our Marketing, Lubricants, Specialties, Value Chain and Optimization, and Risk organizations allowing for an exciting career across the Phillips 66 energy value chain.

**Requirements for a Phillips 66 University New Hire:**
**Basic/Required:**
+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
+ Bachelor’s degree program in Maritime Business, Maritime Logistics or Equivalent
+ Graduation date prior to May 31, 2025 or August 31, 2025
+ Available to work at Houston, TX headquarters
**Preferred:**
+ A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
+ Previous internship or co-op participant in related industry
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Available to report on July 16, 2025
