In a marketing role in the Unilever Young Manager Programme, you will lead the world’s most well-known brands, manage essential elements of the marketing mix and enroll in our world-class marketing academy. The Marketing experience you will get on the Unilever Young Manager Programme will include Brand Building, Brand Development and Digital Media exposure.
What Will You Be Doing?
Creative flair and consumer love will see you go far, but marketing is commercially focused and demands strong business skills to make things happen. It takes a deep sense of logic, ambition, organisational skills and an understanding of how the business operates, you might say you are the product owner of your brand in your country, working with many multi-disciplinary teams to keep your brand relevant. Great marketers have the passion and see that marketing is all about creating the best products for our consumers, which improve the lives of our consumers.
Over multiple stints you will gain broad experience in several areas of marketing expertise for example:
Brand Building & Management – Participate in the development of our brand and marketing strategies for iconic brands like Dove, Breeze, Vaseline among many others. Learn to make data driven recommendations across 6Ps and be involved in driving localised portfolio mixes to win in the market.
Agency Management – You will work with marketing agencies to conceptualise and land brilliant execution of disruptive and memorable activations, and unmissably superior brand experiences.
Brand Operations – You will work closely with our Customer Strategy & Planning (CSP), Supply Chain, Finance, Consumer Marketing Insights and Media teams to manage projects and bring plans to life on a day to day basis.
Consumer Data & Insights – You will obtain data from multiple sources like research agencies, consumers, sales trends, amongst many others, deriving insights on consumer behaviours and trends, ultimately using it to drive decision making for our brands and products.

What do we look for?
Fresh graduates or a maximum of 2-years working experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in any fields of study with a displayed strength of solid business acumen and commercial awareness.
Malaysian nationality.
Willing to travel - geographic mobility.
