The summer analyst program provides an excellent opportunity for senior-level banker and client exposure and higher, immediate “hands-on” experience.
About the Summer Analyst Program
KBCM provides its Summer Analysts unprecedented professional development opportunities through a mix of on-the-job training and structured, hands-on experience. The program is designed to provide broad experience across all stages of transaction executions, from pitch phase through closing. Because our Summer Analyst Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for you to return to KBCM upon graduation to start your capital markets career.
Job duties may include:
Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged and discounted cash flow analysis.Assist in drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, and creating client “pitch books”, management and board presentations.Required Qualifications:
Rising juniors enrolled in a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, economics or accounting graduating by May of 2027Minimum 3.5 GPAStrong quantitative and critical thinking abilitiesDemonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activitiesHighly motivated with a strong work ethicOutstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsGroups where interns may be placed include: Healthcare

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a weekly salary in the range of $1,440 to $1,730 depending on location and coverage group. Furthermore, this position will be eligible for overtime compensation which is paid in accordance with the fluctuating workweek. Summer analyst can also expect a $2,000 stipend.
