Current Contract Estimate: $58 -60 / hour (Weekly Travel Rate Available for Out of State Applicants)

Contract Details: Amergis is seeking qualified School Psychologists for the 2025/2026 school year in the Farmington, UT area. Before applying for the position, please ensure you are eligible or already licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Utah. 

Role Details: The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifying students for additional support services.  The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete multi-factored evaluations within state regulations and timelines. Conduct pre-referral consultations/interventions, including being a pre-referral team member, observing students, and serving as an assessment specialist. Screen at-risk children, monitor intervention progress, assess instructional strategies, and consult with teachers. Plan and monitor instructional interventions and individual education plans. Conduct psycho-educational assessments, including norm-referenced tests, interviews, and observations. Consult with patients, parents, and personnel on educational and mental health matters. Maintain monthly psycho-educational evaluation logs. Review and recommend best practices, including staff training programs. Participate in ongoing training and consult with team members. Support RTI implementation in assigned schools. Conduct evaluations, including pre-diagnostic meetings, interviews, observations, and reviewing academic history. Administer specialized evaluations and conduct Functional Behavior Analysis if required. Create Behavior Intervention Plans if needed. Attend pre-referral and screening team meetings. Enter evaluation information on CRT before IEP meetings. Participate in IEP and manifestation determination review meetings. Determine the nature of a child’s problems through case study evaluations. Participate in parent conferences, classroom observations, consultations, and follow-ups. Attend PAEC meetings and complete psychological evaluation reports. Perform other duties as needed, including teacher in-service, counseling, student screening, parent groups, intern supervision, and program development. Maintain client information securely and confidentially. Perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:
