The individuals selected for this position oversee the operations of multiple locations within a region. They make sure each branch runs smoothly, cleanly and adhere with company and industry regulations. District Managers are the key liaison between a companys headquarters and assigned branches. Always ensuring the company goals and objectives are being met by all locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Knows and actively demonstrates daily our Company Mission Statement and our Core Values Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures. Recruits, hires, train and cultivates strong teams of facility managers. Ensuring operation efficiency such as distribution operation, customer service, and personnel in each location. Auditing all locations within the region regularly. Oversee Inventory profit/ loss for all locations assigned. Managing and forecasting labor budgeting to seasonal business influx and decrease. Manage a regional budget and ensuring each store operates within the budget. Ensures that customer service levels are consistence across locations. Has the ability to communicate effectively with subordinates and Directors. Has the ability to learn and perform subordinates job descriptions included but not limited to Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisors Ensures operation managers are up to date on all business procedures and guidelines. Maintains safe and healthy work environment for branches by establishing, following, and enforcing processes and procedures. Prepares and implements production and quality plans based around customer service standards and labor goals. Partner with HR and upper management for employee coaching and training Efficiently carrying out all the directives given by Directors. Ensures all branches work in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA Possess time management skills and be able to prioritizes tasks and meet the demands of the day Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has supervisory responsibilities. Candidates for this position must understand and execute subordinates job functions.

Qualifications

In other words, here is the technical stuff:
Education or ExperienceWe would love you to 1-2 years of regional manager or relevant role, excellent communication, interpersonal, adaptability, delegation, and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across branches. We would like you to have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED), but sometimes, experience is the best education.
Language SkillsWe need you to be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos. You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
Computer SkillsYou should also be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. We expect you to be able
to create scheduling and delegating tasks, plan meetings, share and configuring calendars electronically.
Mathematical SkillsYou need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus.
Counting is a major plus too as your count becomes inventory.
Attitudinal and Personal SkillsYou have the job. Now you need to do the job. You need to be responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service. Patience friendliness and an outgoing personality are needed for success. You need to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task. You should be proficient in conflict resolution, leadership time and priority management and have reliable high integrity. We expect you to have the ability to work as part of the team, have a professional appearance and attitude. You should have the ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
HoursFull Time is typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.
Part Time is up to 25 hours per week
We schedule for the needs of our business. Working outside of your scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited. In other words,
you cannot decide to make up hours because you missed some time after a night out with your buddies unless your manager oks it.
Reasoning AbilityYou need the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Knowing when to come in from the rain is a plus.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job regularly requires standing, walking, or bending; use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balance; talking and hearing. Work Environment and Environmental ConditionsWe provide a fun and positive environment in for our staff. You will be exposed to outside weather conditions while you are working in our warehouses. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.
