The Electrician Maintenance Technician performs advanced and expert level troubleshooting, and repairs of all plant equipment and production machinery. Must be self-motivated, have the ability to trouble shoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in a production Casting and Machining environment. Candidate will also be expected to perform Preventative/predictive maintenance and conform to all OSHA and Aludyne standards.
What You'll Do:Troubleshoot, problem solve, repair and maintain electrical equipment promptly.Locate and replace faulty electrical componentsComplete electrical upgrades and new install projects. Also, support on Continuous Improvements.Maintenance of plant lighting and electrical components of plant systems.Possess knowledge of high voltage applications.Disassembly, repair and reassembly of all plant and production machinery.Perform, analyze, and interpret various types of test equipment.Work with production personnel to develop solutions to quality issues, as well as, Continuous Improvement projects.Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, ladder logic.Ability to wire panels, run conduit, trace wiring, isolate electrical components.Responsible for electrical cabinet organization/cleanliness and wire tag legibility.Perform plant 480v electrical Thermography and document recommendation to correct findings.Attend seminars as required to enhance job knowledgeWhy You'll Love Working for Us:Comprehensive Benefits Package to include medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account with annual employer contributions and Flexible Spending AccountsCareer Development and On-The-Job TrainingEmployer 401K MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid vacation and holidays Requirements What We Need from You:Journeyman Electrical license or minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the electrical fieldSpecialized Electrical courseworkWorking knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E requirementsWorking knowledge of machinery rigging, gearbox and spindle repair and must be able to read blueprintsMust be able to repair and troubleshoot industrial machinery including CNC machining centers, rotary dials, stand-alone machines, casting machines, finishing cells and assembly equipmentMust be able to understand and troubleshoot operator interface terminals, AC and DC servo systems, VFD’s, PLC’s, and power suppliesMust be able to maintain and repair facility equipment as directed by maintenance supervisionLock out/ Tag out ProceduresConfined space entryHot work permitOperation of industrial equipmentIndustrial safety guidelinesBasic electrical knowledgeBasic math knowledgeHigh School graduation or equivalent
