Job Description:

Location: West Brookfield, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing is hiring for a 2nd shift Extruder at our client located in the West Brookfield, MA area!

Required training on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks

Temp to hire – Union role

Responsibilities:

Set-up and operate extruder to melt extrude thermoplastic insulation onto copper wire
Process entails installing guider and die into machine, loading copper wire onto back of machine, putting copper pellets into hopper
Start machine and set controls to regulate melted extrudate onto the copper wire as required

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older
Previous extrusion experience
Experience with micrometer and other measuring devices
Ability to work independently
Ability to follow detailed technical instructions
