Job Details:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
SUMMARY:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
Able to perform repetitive motion.
Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
ATTENTION: These positions may involve use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
Must be able to use cutting tools such as knives and scissors for the removal of meat from the frame of the bird. Will be rotated through the positions on the manual debone line and will be assessed on proficiency in the front half deboning process.
