2nd Shift Lead – Hiawatha, KS
We are seeking a proven leader for a Warehouse Lead role at the Crosswind Packaging division in Hiawatha, KS. This position will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the warehouse ensuring the accurate receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.
Additional responsibilities include: Ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations in the expected quantities.Inventory production daily and report information to appropriate individualsPerform cycle counts throughout the monthOversee year-end physical count inventoryCoordinate with management on customer requests as related to packaging and palletizingCoordinate with quality manager to implement and maintain Prerequisite, Food Safety, and quality programsResponsibility to identify food safety and/or product integrity issues and to initiate and record actions for issues reportedResponsibility to communicate and review any information deemed necessary, including but not limited to, food safety, product integrity, formulas, specifications and/or changes with customersWork in the most effective, efficient and safe manner at all times.Requirements:The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or related field (prior supervisory experience preferred),The ability to operate a forklift safety.The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills A strong team player, have solid problem-solving skills, be safety and quality focused, and have the desire to build and develop a solid team.
