Job Description:

Location: Kennebunk, Maine

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift PVD Machine Operator/Fixturer for our manufacturing facility in Kennebunk, ME. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with a shift differential and a stable work schedule. You will be responsible for operating PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) machines and fixturing. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for 4-6 weeks before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

– Operate and monitor PVD machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production of medical device components.
– Fixturing parts and ensuring they are set up properly for the PVD process.
– Maintain consistent quality control throughout the production process, adhering to specifications.
– Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
– Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
– Document production data and any issues that may arise during the shift.
– Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment or production problems.

Desired Background/Skills:

– Prior experience in machine operation or manufacturing (preferred but not required).
– Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
– Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
– Willingness to work 2nd shift (with 4-6 weeks of training on the 1st shift).
– Must be at least 18 years of age
