2nd Shift Machine Operator Employee Pay: $20.00-$21.00 hourly

2nd Shift Machine Operator Start Date: ASAP

\n\n

2nd Shift Machine Operator Schedule: 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday plus weekends, as needed

\n\n

We are seeking an entry level 2nd Shift Machine Operator for a temporary opportunity with our client, a local medical device organization! The 2nd Shift Machine Operators are responsible for the assembly and production of quality products and work in a variety of work-cells, utilizing an assortment of handheld tools to assemble components and final packaging. The 2nd Shift Machine Operator also participates in quality checks, visual inspection, reject accountability, and record keeping. 

\n\n

The 2nd Shift Machine Operator job duties:

\n\n\n\tVerifies that correct components are used.\n\tFollows all established procedures and policies.\n\tPerforms necessary quality checks relative to the operation.\n\tPerforms visual inspections during process operation per procedure.\n\tInspects components, materials, and products for proper identification, acceptable quality, and correct quantity.\n\tEnsures manufacturing equipment has necessary supplies and materials for the operation.\n\tReports quality deviations to the lead person/machine attendant.\n\tPerforms line clearances.\n\tCompletes appropriate documentation.\n\tPerforms cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of designated manufacturing areas.\n\tMaintains work area in neat and orderly condition.\n\tAdheres to all safety and good housekeeping regulations.\n\tPerforms all other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor.\n\n\n


\nThe 2nd Shift Machine Operator job requirements:

\n\n\n\tMinimum 6 months manufacturing experience (medical device manufacturing preferred).\n\tMinimum education requirement of high school diploma, GED, or higher.\n\tMust be willing to work in a clean room environment.\n\tLight soldering and microscope work required.\n\tGood communication skills with the ability to read, write, and understand job instructions in English.\n\tAbility to work quickly and independently.\n\tAbility to work with numbers and perform calculations or conversions.\n\tBasic computer skills.\n\tAttention to detail and accuracy.\n\tAbility to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without a reasonable accommodation.\n\n\n
