2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT
**Description** 2nd SHIFT MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT Responsibilities: + Coordinate supervisor duties and oversee maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and technical equipment. + Administer the Safety program. + Review production reports and identify downtime causes. + Address mechanical or technical defects causing downtime. + Assign work orders and special projects to maintenance supervisors. + Maintain the department budget. + Conduct daily meetings to review assignments and address issues. + Provide technical assistance throughout the shift. + Review and approve maintenance purchase requisitions. + Interview and hire supervisory and hourly maintenance personnel. + Delegate training procedures. + Schedule and maintain preventative maintenance. + Monitor production areas to ensure equipment functionality. + Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics in SAP. + Promote safety in all maintenance activities. + Update equipment data in SAP. + Attend scheduled meetings. + Ensure compliance with OSHA safety practices. + Communicate effectively in English. + Lead teams to achieve personal and plant goals. + Develop and manage maintenance schedules. + Order parts and assign work orders. + Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + High school diploma or GED. + Technical education in mechanical, electrical, robotics, or electronics preferred. + Experience in maintenance supervision. + Industrial construction experience beneficial. + Mechanical and electrical knowledge required. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP systems. + Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. + Knowledge of skilled crafts and ability to read schematics. + Ability to work 40+ hours per week. + Knowledge of safety precautions and occupational hazards. + Willingness to travel as needed.
