**Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor** **Job Description** The Maintenance Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled technicians as they perform the necessary repairs and preventive maintenance associated with the reliable operation of a beverage plant. This role involves working closely with the maintenance team, production staff, and other departments to minimize downtime and improve productivity. **Responsibilities** + Supervise a shift of skilled technicians, providing guidance and support as necessary to safely accomplish plant production goals. + Ensure department standards are met in the execution of maintenance work while employees adhere to both food and personal safety protocols. + Manage the weekly scheduled work list, ensuring tasks are assigned and carried out appropriately to meet schedule compliance goals. + Coordinate repairs with plant personnel and assign shift resources as necessary to manage urgent work lists. + Conduct shift change meetings to inform employees of the state of the plant and make assignments. + Train and develop technicians. + Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create, update, and complete work orders. + Verify spare parts inventories for plant equipment. + Help manage and reduce repair part and labor costs. + Develop preventive and predictive plans to increase overall equipment effectiveness. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + Maintenance technician experience + Hydraulics knowledge + Maintenance management + Preventive maintenance + Maintenance supervision + Scheduling + Mechanical repair + High school diploma or equivalent qualification + 3-5 years proven experience in a similar role + Strong knowledge of machines and equipment + Excellent organizational and leadership abilities + Keen eye for detail to ensure quality and safety standards + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a similar field is a plus + Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems + Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferred **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of equipment and technologies.
