Position Summary
Shift supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operation of Mold Center activities.Role and Responsibilities
1. Supervisor is familiar with all operations in the Mold Center with the ability to advise and train less experienced mold center personnel.
2. Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day activities of the mold center, including schedule of mold and die PM's, engineering changes and repairs for maintenance team.
3. Supervisor is responsible to maintain and sustain 3C5S in mold center.
4. Supervisor is responsible to maintain all Samsung policies for safety, quality and productivity of his/her shift/team.
5. Supervisor keeps daily attendance audit for his/her shift/team.
6. Supervisor reports any problems with molds, dies, machinery or personnel to Mold Center Part Leader
7. Supervisor performs any other duties as assigned by part leader or MIP group leader.

Skills and Qualifications
1. Education: Minimum: Associate Degree, or High school diploma.
2. Experience: 5 years’ experience in supervising and troubleshooting mold/die issues.
3. Knowledge: Knowledge of Forklift, Overhead crane, CNC, EDM, Wire, Welding, manual mill, lathe and grinder. Mold and Die troubleshooting and repair.
4. Skills: Good communication skills, Problem Solving Ability, MS Office or other Production related system skills such as SGTM
5. Physical Demands:
• Frequently required to stand; use hands to handle and reach.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
6. Domestic role. No direct interaction with HQ or region.
