The Production Clerk provides clerical support to production supervisors and management.
Job Responsibilities• Calculate/summarize daily production paperwork for supervisor/management review.
• Maintain employee attendance and timekeeping records.
• Distribute production schedules to line personnel.
• Review production documentation and maintains accurate reports.
• Utilize system functions such as Word, Excel, SAP, etc.
• Maintain accurate and complete files.
• Work with management to provide any kind of clerical support needed.
• Communication effectively.
• All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the states safety policies and procedures.
• All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our Quality Food Program.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
The pay for this position is $21.55-$22.55. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.
Required Education and Experience• High School diploma or GED.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
• Ability to handle multiples tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve,
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows applications.
• Kronos experience.
