Volt is immediately hiring a Production Manufacturing Supervisor in Gardena, CA.

As a Production Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:

\r\n\r\n

The Production Supervisor is a critical role in the manufacturing industry, responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a combination of technical and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage employees and meet production goals. Directly supervises employees on the production line. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEnsure the safety and quality of the products that the line produces.\r\n\tTo maintain and ensure the safe operation of the line.\r\n\tProduce the standard numbers of cases as required.\r\n\tAttain the standard yield of the products per company requirements.\r\n\tGenerate and file all reports that are required by Standard Operation Procedures.\r\n\tEnsure that all process control reports are properly completed and filed in a timely manner. If there are abnormal figures in the report, take prompt action to correct the conditions.\r\n\tUtilize Superintendent III in the most effective manner to pursue and full fill the responsibilities as assigned.\r\n\tManage the utility operators and machine operators in the most effective manner to pursue and full fill the responsibilities assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssociates or Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Food Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\r\n\t2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment\r\n\tPrior supervisory experience\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Shift: 4/10 Schedule, 2nd shift 3:30pm - 3am, rotating/flexible days

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Salary: $28 - $32/hour + daily overtime offered

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
