Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to join their team in Monroe, NC! In this role, you will support and execute quality and process improvement initiatives throughout the normal production process. This is a working production position with responsibility for monitoring the quality of products being produced.   

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Shift:

2nd shift; Monday through Friday from 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Your Responsibilities:

Physically verify that final products (statements and letters) meet production standards by comparing them to the written order instructionsExamine material by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsReturn products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-workExplain to operators and supervisors how the product doesn’t match the clients instructionsWalk around to different machines to verify the accuracy of jobsCross-train in different departments to further develop your skills (postal, shipping, hand table, and more)Report problems or concerns with quality results with senior management immediatelyEnsure that items that go out the door are 100% accurateInput data into the production databaseLearn about our production process and the role that the QA hasMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulationsInspect materials and products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instrumentsEnsures materials and products are in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged

 You Must Have:

High School Diploma/GED Previous Quality Inspection or related / relevant experience within a fast-paced high production environment6 months to 1 year of experience in a production environmentStrong attention to detailBasic measuring skills - able to read a ruler and other measurement devicesBasic computer skills (open and save documents, print files, and enter data)Strong communication skills - must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to perform duties and tasks to meet deadlinesGood problem-solving skillsBe able to work extended hours and weekends based on the production scheduleThis location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA); all employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship

Requirements Within This Position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry
