Job Overview

Reporting to the Manager-Finance, the Lead Finance specialist will be an integral part of the finance team. The successful candidate will receive excellent experience in all aspects of the finance function and obtaining in-depth knowledge of the business.

Role & Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reports. Manage the monthly AR close process including reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to GL and preparation of AR month end schedules, revenue reporting and reconciliation to GL and metrics used for internal reporting. Ensure that the invoices are raised on time with 100% accuracy, invoices and provisions are entered in the accounting system Monitor accounts to identify overdue invoices and follow up to ensure timely payments Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Work closely with the sales team and PM to resolve billing issues and improve the payment process. Process and review expense claim reports, ensure proper documentation, and verify compliance with company policies Payment processing (payroll, vendor payments, foreign remittance, reimbursements etc.) Meeting the SLA s and assigned volume on daily basis Taking care of all statutory payments and filing of returns and related compliance. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial data. Prepare MIS, monthly financial reports with financial analysis, cash flow management and forecasting. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial documents are accurate and complete.
