Downer holds a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice. This involves the proactive management and delivery to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 100 courts and 157 community correctional sites. This contract underpins the provision of availability of facilities to support core Government services.
We are seeking a 3 Water Technician professional to assist with operational duties, including plant operation, treatment management, and other various 3 water-related tasks. The role ensures compliance with client resource consent conditions and helps achieve client goals for Drinking Water, ensuring all standards are met within the capabilities of the treatment assets.

Knowledge of or qualifications in water treatment systems (desirable). National Certificate in Water Treatment Level 4 or higher (or willingness to train towards). Knowledge of water supply systems (advantageous). Valid Class 1 Driver's License. Computer literate with experience in data collection. Experience dealing with the public and potable sampling (training provided).
