Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Heavy Duty (310T) Mechanic to join our team. to work on a fleet of garbage trucks. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will do a lot of hydraulics, brake jobs along with preventative maintenance and minor engine repair. You will be responsible for maintaining Waste Connections of Canada (WCC) vehicles and equipment in a safe working order. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will work directly with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all vehicles meet all provincial regulations and standards, and WCC safety standards.

Full time with benefits

Pay rate:

Monday to Thursday 3pm-11pm, Fridays 3pm-7pm

$45/hr plus $1.50/hr shift premium

Requirements:

310T license (MANDATORY)3-4 years of experience as a Heavy Duty MechanicMust be able to pass all pre-employment testsCommercial Driving License is an asset
