We are looking for an experienced **Heavy Duty Mechanic - 310T** for our Peel facility. **Pay rate** : $40.99 per hour + $1.00 shift premium **Shift** : 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM + Full Benefit package after 3 months of service + Boots provided twice annually + Clothing supplied + Coveralls supplied + Tool replacement **Responsibilities:** + Performinspectionson trucks and equipment + Repairand maintain all trucks and equipment + Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes,lubricationsand tune ups. Complete work according toPreventive MaintenancePrograms. + Ability to perform apreventive maintenanceservice, inspection identifying any repairing any deficiencies + Ability to teach apprentices skills of the trade and proper techniques ofrepair **Qualifications:** + Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and organizational abilities. + Maintains a Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman ticket + Willing to work in a team atmosphere, ability to work independently. + Detailedand flexible approach to work assignments. + Accurately document work performed. + Completework ordersin a timely and accurate fashion. + Leads by example with integrity. + Maintain safe work habits and keep work area clean. + Participate in the elimination of safety hazards. + Own tools required. + A strong knowledge ofPowertrains,Electrical troubleshooting,Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic Systems and After treatment Systems. **Work Environment** : Job incumbents must be able to: + Work under adverse conditions including outside in any weather, around dirt, dust, and hazardous conditions such as broken glass and other hazards. + Frequent exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, gases odors and excessive noises. + Occasional exposure to chemicals, solvents, grease or oil and slippery surfaces. + Be available to work any shift, and sometimes weekends. **_Waste Connections of Canada/Enviro Connexions is an Equal Opportunity Employer_**
