Supervises the Snack Bar Staff during assigned shift ensuring quality service, profitable operations, and high standards for food quality, housekeeping and sanitation. May perform work of those supervised.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Schedules and delegates work to snack bar staff during an assigned shift. Provides guidance and direction to the staff. Makes recommendations to the Executive Chef on hiring, development and discipline of the staff. Ensures that guests receive prompt and cordial service at all times. Assists in providing daily reports regarding revenue and volume. Monitors the area for cleanliness, sanitation and proper food handling. Ensures adequate supply of snack bar supplies. Assists in serving the guest when necessary and may perform the work of those supervised. Resolves guest concerns, complaints, or refers the situation to management, in a continuous effort to provide superior service to Resort guests. Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and written, when applicable. Makes sure that communications are clear, concise, complete and accurate. Displays behavior that enhances the image of the resort as evidenced by professional and courteous behavior towards all customers including co-workers. Fosters a sense of teamwork and collaboration within the department and property by demonstrating respect for others judgement and capabilities, and gives praise/recognition to those who earn it. Willingly accepts suggestions for improvement and takes the instructions without defensiveness and strives to correct the situation. Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department. Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate Must have excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation skills. Must be computer literate. Must be able to follow verbal instructions. Must be able to handle customer situations as they arise. At least one year of experience working with customers or in a customer relations capacity. Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License Must have a Food Handlers Certificate
