3C Coach
Noble
Act as an HSE leader, instructor, and coach to rig crews and rig management. Provide health, safety and environmental management support while implementing Noble’s safe system of work and 3C process, including supporting the development of risk assessments and other safety related documentation. Supports OIM and Section Leads with identifying and resolving process challenges and improvement opportunities related to HSE, training and compliance. Act as an ambassador to drive a pro-active approach to safety by implementing a Safety II and Safety Differently philosophy through Learning from Normal Work. Actively share learnings across the fleet and be instrumental in driving the rig’s safety culture. Reports directly to Regional 3C Lead, with indirect reporting to OIM and regular interaction / communication with assigned Rig HSE Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent.3-5 years’ experience in offshore operations.Possess excellent communications & coaching skills, be able to communicate with diverse global workforce.Be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office.Strong management system knowledge, including regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports OIM and assigned rig HSE Supervisor in all aspects of HSE leadership, supporting Noble’s vision to be the leading offshore driller by implementing and follow up on HSE corporate safety campaigns and strategies.Responsible for facilitating onboarding orientation and providing HSE input.Supports Rig Admin (or equivalent) with client HSE reporting as required.Supports OIM and assigned rig HSE Supervisor with initial response and evidence gathering post incident.Acts as a knowledge resource and Subject Matter Expert for Management System including, but not limited to; Risk Assessment, Safe System of Work, Barrier Management, Reporting Systems, Management of Change, Deviations, Control of Work, SkillsVX and the Noble competence assurance system.Leads, coaches, and supports all company and client safety initiatives.Coaches the crew and third party in Transition to Work, Learning from Normal Work and Local Regulations.Facilitates and assists with standardization of Welcome onboard, Pre-tour, Weekly Safety Meeting and Daily Planning Meetings.Assists the rig team and assigned rig HSE Supervisor with developing and improving Rig Specific Documents.Emergency response duties as defined by the rig’s Station Bill.SUPERVISORY
