Division - Weir Minerals
Location - Onsite/Hybrid/Remote
Purpose of Role: 3D Generalist, who has a variety of skills such as 3D modelling, shading/texturing/UV mapping, lighting, Animation, rendering and compositing. You must be able to create photo realistic renders using industry standard packages like Maya, Vray, Adobe and related plugins and knowledge of the workflow methodologies. You must have outstanding teamwork skills and flexibility in adapting to different workflows and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following-
In depth knowledge of Maya + Vray towards end to end software workflow and tools
Integrate 3D assets into Unity, ensuring they work seamlessly within the game engine.
Create high-quality 3D models and textures for use in Unity.
Conduct thorough testing of 3D assets within Unity to ensure they meet quality standards.
Should be able to follow the project style guide to produce photorealistic lifestyle imagery.
Understand and follow all modelling production workflows and procedures, ensuring all deliverables meet the required specification through quality checks.
UV unwrap all tessellated surface geometry using a chosen application.
Ability to familiarize and gain expertise on in-house sophisticated tools & workflow management.
Knowledge of post-production and retouch would be added an advantage.
Ability to take the ownership of the projects and deliver timely and quality results.
Strong interpersonal skills and work effectively with team members.
Multitasking on different projects.
Be able to drive/display ownership/proactive behaviour.
Display communication skills and interactive behaviour.
Quick learner
Education and/or Experience:
3-5 years working experience in Maya + Vray + Adobe tools
Understanding of engineering product manufacturing processes, and tech-spec documentation
Diploma/Degree/Certifications on multimedia/graphics/BFA/3D will be an added advantage
Good communications skills
Experience working with creative teams within a fast-paced, corporate environment
