Work closely in collaboration with our Industrial Design and Engineering teams to design and manufacture various prototypes using various 3D printers Operate, perform maintenance and calibration of 3D printers (large format and standard) Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototypes Make models at various scales with a variety of materials and technologies Maintain inventory of raw materials and spares parts Improve designs through a process of iteration, testing and design review Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using 3D manufacturing and prototyping techniques
  How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

 

You have an AEC in additive manufacturing, mechanical engineering techniques, electromechanics or equivalent experience You are recognized for your ingenuity, versatility, agility and flexibility You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in additive manufacturing environment You have a proven ability to manufacture and develop prototypes from sketches and renderings You are an individual who possesses creativity that is aligned with Bombardier's philosophy of design and innovation: highly innovative and functional and in order to exceed our customers' expectations You have knowledge of Rhino design software, Cura and Catia (an asset) You are bilingual in French and in English (an asset)
