ENERCON’s Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking a 3D Staff Designer to join the Team based in one of our various office locations across the U.S. Join our dynamic engineering team as an experienced designer/drafter and elevate your career by creating and refining detailed drawings, conducting site walkdowns, and collaborating closely with engineers. You'll utilize advanced tools like REVIT, adhere to strict quality and safety standards, and mentor junior team members, all while working on diverse and exciting projects. Responsibilities Create and/or modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVITPrepare design drawings, including layout and detail drawings, piping isometrics, single line drawings, P&ID, pipe and conduit support drawingsDetail physical design of piping and conduit supports based on schematics and typical details; any steel detailing experience is desiredPerform walkdowns at client sites and generate walkdown reportsUnderstand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directivesConduct self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final productMay review the work of other designers/drafters and provide mentoring and leadershipMeet applied time goals set for position/disciplineWork directly with Engineering and other designers for design concept interpretationExperienced with 3D space and building information management (BIM)Can perform internal reviews and clash detection of designs using NAVISWORK or REVITCan create and modify REVIT families and incorporate them into designUnderstands AutoCAD national standardsDisplays high attention to details; can perform peer checks for other designersHas ability to communicate internally with engineers and designers and is very organized

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field with a minimum of 2 years of design engineering experience or Associates Degree in related field with minimum 6 years of design engineering experienceProficient with both 2D and 3D design software, AutoCAD and Revit is required; NAVISWORKS, Inventor, Creo, and Bluebeam recommendedWorking knowledge of basic engineering techniques, principals, standards, and concepts for assigned engineering discipline; competent in the basic concepts of other disciplines as they relate to the assigned disciplineExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of codes, standards, criteria, and design execution pertinent to various aspects of designAbility to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs

Salary Range

The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
