Primary Function
We are seeking a detail-oriented self-starter individual to join our team as a Program Support Specialist Program Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of government program and related logistics support activities. This position involves managing cataloging, tracking shipments, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and supporting various aspects of program support.
Essential Duties
Ability to travel and attend Program Team conferencesCapable of developing presentations and brief data with confidenceWorks under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and update the IMS catalog.Ensure accurate and timely catalog entries for equipment, materials, and supplies.Facilitate changes to Standard Equipment Groups (SEG) codes as needed.Maintain consistency and compliance with coding standards Monitor and track Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) due-in items.Communicate with relevant parties to expedite receipt and processing. Manage work in progress (WIP) inventory.Coordinate with internal and external teams to optimize workflow.Oversee the movement of materials within the organization.Ensure accurate documentation and timely delivery.Coordinate outbound shipments to various locations (CONUS and OCONUS).Maintain records and track shipments to completion.Control inventory levels and configurations.Monitor and report on program statusOther duties as assigned by leaderSupervisory Responsibilities

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to maintain accuracy and precision in inventory management tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and inventory audits. Logistics and Supply Chain Management:Knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain processes, and inventory management techniques.Understanding of warehouse operations, transportation logistics, and distribution channels.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.Ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize technical and statistical information.Capacity to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose practical solutions.Aptitude for troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing corrective actions.High level of accuracy and precision in cataloging, documentation, and record-keeping.Ability to identify errors and discrepancies in data and take appropriate corrective measures.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.Ability to coordinate and execute various projects simultaneously.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory management, inventory analysis, or related roles, preferably in a 3PL environment.Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, such as DPAS, ERP, SAP, GOLDesp, WMS (Warehouse Management System).Proven experience in logistics operations, program management, or a similar role.Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.Knowledge of government procurement regulations and standards is preferred.PREFERENCE STATEMENT
