A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in Europe’s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services.

 

We’re looking for a Security Cleared Third Line Analyst to join our friendly team, supporting diverse and geographically spread Wintel customer environments. This role will be primarily focused on delivering business-as-usual and project services within a shared service delivery model. The successful candidate must be willing to undertake DV clearance.

 

The role will be based onsite at our Client in Derby.

 

What you'll do

 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Managed Services, providing specialised support across Windows Server platforms. They should possess excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrate the ability to make key technical decisions independently. Excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone, whilst having the ability to assess and prioritise tasks independently is essential. A willingness to learn new technologies and drive continuous improvement.

 

You will work closely with a supportive team to achieve common goals. 

 

The key responsibilities of the role include: 

Designing, developing, and deploying technologies on Windows Platforms  Offering solutions and workarounds to incidents/problems  Working to SLA’s and deadlines  Reviewing services and application delivery  Prioritising and managing several tasks simultaneously  Establishing a good working relationship with wider teams and customers alike  Keeping up to date with advancements in technology  Working with a variety of customers to gain a detailed understanding of their requirements  Providing Remote On-Call Out of Hours Support 

 
What you'll need

 

The candidate should have experience in the following:

Active Directory experience: Group Policy Objects (GPO), Forests, Domains, Domain Controller Roles, DNS, Permission Models, Delegation, Trust relationships, LDAP and Kerberos  DHCP Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016 & 2019) – including server core  Windows 10 Core Windows infrastructure components (DHCP, Windows failover clustering, etc.)  Designing, developing, and deploying technologies on Windows Platforms  Azure AD technologies including Azure AD Connect, ADFS, Azure SSO and PIM  Understanding the interdependency between Active Directory and DNS  PKI and Certificate Management Microsoft Identity Management (FIM/MIM)  Quest Tools (Active Roles, Change Auditor, Recovery Manager, InTrust, Password Manager)  Anti-virus technologies (McAfee ePO, ENS, VSE, HIPS and DLP)  Scripting (PowerShell, VB, etc.)

 

Desirable:

Windows Server 2016 & 2019  Exposure to Citrix technologies  Exposure to Virtualisation technologies  Exposure to Messaging technologies.
