Also, responsible for other maintenance activities, including building maintenance.Our Team Members EnjoyNew starting hourly wagesFree Breakfast & LunchWeekly Pay StructureNo uniforms, casual dressEligible for Referral Bonuses starting Day 1PTO, 401k, & Full Benefits PackagePosition Responsibilities may include, but not limited toTop priority is machine maintenance and repair but will also be responsible for a broad range of other maintenance activitiesInstall, conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and maintain proper machine performanceWill work with natural gas fired equipment, 480V, 3PH electrical, as well as ammonia systems and boilerDiagnose root cause of downtime or quality issues and make repairs to correct the issueFacilitate scheduled changeovers and repairs with production staffRecommend and initiate changes to improve equipment operating performanceCreate and supply parts lists for repairs & backup, and suggest purchase itemsMaintain documents related to maintenance, tests, modifications, and repairsTrain Machine Operators and others on proper set-up and adjustment of equipmentPerform facilities maintenance including general construction (light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry)Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 2 years relevant machine maintenance experienceExperience working with gas fired equipmentElectrical knowledge including 480V, 3 PHKnowledge/experience working with refrigeration, ammonia systems, heating, boilers, pneumatics, and/or PLC’s highly desiredPreventive maintenance skillsSenior level Maintenance Techs need experience working with maintenance management system (CMMS) to coordinate and track preventive maintenance and perform asset managementDemonstrated commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety rulesStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work proactively and independentlyPreferred Skills and ExperienceTechnical training or degree in maintenance field desiredPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)Company Overview
