**3rd Shift Maintenance Technician** + **_DIRECT HIRE_** + **_HOLLAND, MI_** + **_11PM-7:30AM_** + **_$26-30+/hour_** **https://talentassistant.aerotek.com/assistant/bookings/M6X-jUye** **Please use the link to book a time to meet if you would like to interview.** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to handle emergency and preventative maintenance in a food manufacturing environment. This position is from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, Sunday through Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is required, and you will work every other Saturday with time and a half pay for any hours over 8 in a day and all Saturday hours. + Maintain and repair assigned plant equipment, including baggers, pipes, augers, conveyor belts, food fillers, sealers, freezers, ink jet printers, etc. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, with a focus on mechanical work (70/30 split). + Work with hydraulics and pneumatics, repairing cylinders and solenoids, and using blueprints to identify line placements. + Ensure the mechanical and physical integrity of production equipment to minimize downtime. + Complete preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner. + Assist mechanics and 1st shift production departments with machine repair and setup. + Operate maintenance shop equipment safely, including drill presses, lathes, and pneumatic tools. + Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform tasks involving bending, twisting, and climbing. **Why Work Here?** Join a team with a great family feel and excellent benefits. **Enjoy low weekly premium health coverage, 401K matching, and a competitive vacation/PTO package. The facility is temperature controlled, with most areas at 55 degrees, coolers at 35 degrees, and freezers at 0 to -10 degrees. Steel-toed boots with liquid resistance are required.
