**Aerotek is hiring 3rd Shift Milling Machine Operators!** **Job Description** We offer a structured in-house training program that will equip you with the skills necessary to maintain the day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells. You will become fluent in the use of all the machine’s tooling, capable of troubleshooting tools that are cutting improperly, and making necessary adjustments to correct the root cause prior to tool failure. You will be responsible for setting up, running, and inspecting parts throughout your shift while troubleshooting common manufacturing issues. **Responsibilities** + Maintain day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells. + Use all machine tooling proficiently. + Troubleshoot and correct tools cutting improperly before tool failure. + Set up, run, and inspect parts throughout the shift. + Troubleshoot common manufacturing issues. + Blueprint reading + Quality check using calipers and micrometers + CNC machining + Inspection and quality control + Understanding of G & M codes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Technical / Mechanical aptitude + Strong computer skills + Strong basic math and spatial reasoning skills + Appreciation for the importance of completing tasks on time + Ability to clearly communicate and coordinate with team members + Self-motivated with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong work ethic + Ability to work well independently and within a team + Adaptability to a changing work environment + Prior experience with blueprint reading and G & M code reading is beneficial **Why Work Here?** There are multiple opportunities for advancement, as we prefer to promote from within.
