Alma Foods is accepting applications for a Smokehouse Lead. This position will work the 3rd shift (10 p.m.-6 a.m.) Monday through Friday with weekends as needed. The employee will report to the Production Team lead on the shift.
Responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks into Ovens/Chillers, proper product probing, recording temps, reading oven/chiller charts, recording HACCP CCPs, ability to call attention to deviation from normal processes and other duties as assigned by the team lead on shift. Following proper procedures and accurate documentation is extremely important in this position. Reliability and good support are required. Excellent communication skills are necessary.
$20.75/hr + $1/hour shift differential. You will have 90 days to complete Smokehouse HACCP and lead training. Once certification is received pay bumps to $21.75/hr + $1/shift differential. If unable to pass certification and training within the 90 days, employee will be removed from the position.
