Job Description

Analyzes and resolves process and tooling related problems within Machining PlantEstablishes or adjusts work processes to meet production schedulesRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and  quality of productWork with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Maintenance on any 10- foot circle process improvementsMaintain necessary paperwork for engineering changesResolve quality issues and implement corrective actionsCommunicates top issues and status of key projects verbally and electronically with all levels of managementEscalates the need for corrective actions and management support for safety, quality, and productivity related issuesVarious activities including but not limited to using MS Office and PlexCreate detailed work instructions that are useful and easily understood by operatorsSetup CNC lathes for production and engineering trialsChange/setup various work holding fixtures on shapers and lathesLoad/unload CNC and loader programs from NC controllers.Facilitate and conduct tool trials in a controlled mannerAll other job duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

proficient knowledge of CNC programming, CMM inspection, SPC, CAD, and PLC preferred.
