Contract to Hire position$24.00 to $28.00 /hourThird Shift (12:00pm to 08:00am)Guide and train team members to maximize the efficient use of available resources and achieve production goals.Track and maintain cost controls related to efficiency, waste, output, and overtime to meet operational targets.Oversee and uphold sanitation protocols within the facility and its surrounding areas to meet company and regulatory requirements.Maintain open communication with adjoining shifts and support departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, Human Resources) to ensure seamless operations.Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards and address any deviations promptly.Ensure equipment operates at optimal speeds and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and improve production flow.Ensure all required forms, records, and reports are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.Support the implementation of safety programs and ensure adherence to safety procedures during shift operations.Address team concerns, encourage collaboration, and support a participative work culture to maintain a motivated and engaged team.3rd Shift - Team Leader/ Supervisor 1 Qualifications:
Combination of education and experienceA minimum of 2-4 years previous experience managing/supervising groups of employees in a manufacturing environment.Cross-functional experience with an understanding of delivering successful business results in the areas of schedule attainment, safety, quality, and cost. Knowledge of OSHA standards, HACCP guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), etc.Experience with lean and continuous improvement tools and methodologies (A3 problem solving, RCFA, 5 Why, etc)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
