What is the opportunity?

As an HR Talent Cycle Consultant, you will be responsible for carrying out HR administration responsibilities supporting Europe, UK, and the Channel Islands.

The focus will be on reviewing screening checks from our third-party screening provider. This would be pre-employment checks as well as rescreening for existing employees.

You will also work alongside the rest of the Talent Cycle team on various other employee life cycle processes like onboarding, job changes, terminations and family leave.

You will be collaborating with the business, HRBPs, larger HR Talent Services and Payroll team to ensure all data and administration activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

You will enable our employees and people managers to execute Workday related tasks by providing timely, navigational support for information on HR policies, procedures, and completion of tasks.

You will build trust and rapport with HR teams and Business colleagues by engaging or escalating any queries you receive that require additional expertise to be resolved.

What will you do?

Primary Responsibility - Screening:

Conducting and reviewing pre-employment screening checks for new starters via our third-party screening provider.

Conducting and reviewing employee screening checks for existing employees as part of their annual re-screening under SMCR regime.

To work closely with our HR Governance and Employee Relations team to report any discrepancies identified during the checks.

To liaise with candidates and employees where necessary to help facilitate and expediate their screening process.

Other Responsibilities:

Pre-employment screening plus re-screening is the main focus of this role; however from time to time the role holder may be required to assist in the following processes:

Opportunity to work closely with the rest of the Talent Cycle team on various Operational processes like onboarding, job changes, family leave and terminations.

Meet new hires on the first day of employment; collect and process their right-to-work documentation.

Administration of employee data and job details on the HRIS system – Workday.

Manages processes with employee, manager, and HR Business Partner team where appropriate.

Creating employee files in a timely manner and maintenance of employee dossier.

Act as the first point of contact for all incoming work and queries to Talent Cycle Europe in the British Isles (email, phone and potentially Webex chat).

Ownership and resolution of standard policy related questions coming from employees and providing guidance on HR workplace policies and practices pertaining to our HR Platform, Workday.

Determine the appropriate contact/team and triage to resolve the work item and route it accordingly using the ServiceNow case management and workflow system.

Maintaining case management and HRIS systems ensuring information is current & accurate, allowing data to be pulled effectively and provided to wider HR department and HRBPs as and when required.

Ensure all department and company driven processes are completed within SLA, whilst identifying any improvements in the processes in place.

Must have:

Similar operations/onboarding / employee screening experience.

Ability to prepare accurate documentation with a high standard of presentation and confidentiality.

Adaptable with the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.

Ability to work on own initiative diligently and without constant supervision, applying analytical thinking and problem solving.

Superior organisational skills with ability to manage high volume of work, attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to work effectively within HR team and employees at all levels.

Ability to organise and prioritise work activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet objectives within tight deadlines while working with others in the team and organisation.
