401K Team Lead

ADP is hiring a 401(k) Team Lead to sit in either Louisville, KY or El paso, TX.

In this role, you will provide high level 401(k) product support and guidance to the ADP 401(k) Clients, Regional Sales, New Business, HR - Payroll. Research - resolve complex issues relating to the ADP 401(k) Prototype Plan - including but not limited to; Client Plan Design, compliance testing, and Client Plan administration, ensuring compliance with government regulations - laws. Develop - maintain effective communications to ensure satisfaction - client retention. Manages workflow and assignments. Provides assistance and coaching to the 401(k) Client Service Managers as needed to ensure continuity of Plan Administration, and inter-departmental communication. Performs on-the-job training as required.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicates discrepancies - resolutions and acts as the Regional liaison between Division 401(k), Record keepers, Third Party Administrators, CSR's, Trusts, Region - the Client. Respond to inquiries from Clients, Sales, Payroll, Human Resources, and New Business regarding 401(k) Administration, Plan Design, process flow, statutory limitations, and general investment questions. Mentors and coaches the 401K staff; assists with challenges on process flow, timeliness, and application of Plan design. Translates and interprets Plan specifications and applies them to the 401K duties within the department. Assists the Client with completion of the Adoption Agreement or Plan Amendments, as they relate to the Plan specifications and options. Responds to questions from Clients on individual Plan design, to coordinate their corporate structure; regulate Control Group challenges, to ensure proper compliance and adherence to business and Plan guidelines. Makes client service calls related to escalations to ensure client satisfaction with the 401(k) product - to receive feedback on client concerns. Advises a client on DOL regulations and plan amendment changes. Works closely with the Client to review more complex compliance testing results, discuss profit sharing, additional contributions, and plan changes based on previous activity. Advises client on plan termination or transfer regulations as a result of the client leaving ADP. Ensures that the client is billed for services - that payroll systems are updated. Provides assistance and on-the-job training to the 401(k) Client Service Managers regarding client problem resolution in the technical - compliance features of the 401(k) Plan. Acts as 401(k) Supervisor for the 401(k) group in the Manager’s absence. Maintains records on all client calls in CEH. Attend training or classes to stay updated on current laws, trends, or processes. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Demonstrated continuing education in the 401(k) field. 4+ Years experience with qualified Plans. At least 2 years' proficiency with client service regarding qualified Plans.

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

In-depth working knowledge in retirement service industry. Prefer experience with a TPA or record keeper. General financial services background. General ERISA knowledge. Knowledge of qualified testing, filing and tax reporting required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ADP Payroll experience and CEH. Ability to mentor and coach others. PC literacy required. Ability to prioritize and set schedule, strong organization and time management skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate professional conduct when interacting with clients. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Must be able to work under pressure with multiple tasks and meeting stated deadlines. Proven ability to handle a large volume of technically complex daily inquiries (primarily phone calls).
